Our Impact

CCR’s programs work across the early learning system to improve overall awareness of, access to, and quality of child care for all children in Washington. Click here to view our latest annual report.

In 2017, through relentless advocacy and community support, we secured funding from the City of Seattle to serve families experiencing homelessness across the state of Washington, and support them through the DSHS subsidy process. This increases the chance of continued funding for our most vulnerable families into the future.
As of 2018, we have more than 120 Kaleidoscope Play & Learn groups across the state of Washington - which prepare the 75% of our state's children who do not participate in formal child care, for kindergarten.
In 2017, our Family Center provided information and child care referrals to more than 18,000 families across Washington State.
In 2018, 27 of the cohort of 28 providers in King & Pierce Counties that we coach and support rated a level three or higher in Early Achievers - the state's indication of a program providing high quality care for our kids.
