STARS & Continuing Education Registration

Cancellation policy  Child Care Resources has a “no refund” policy for all training including First Aid/CPR/HIV. Cancellations will be honored one week in advance of the class date only. There are no cash refunds. You will be issued a credit coupon to be used as payment for another class.

• Child Care Resources cannot guarantee that you will receive STARS credit if you arrive more than 15 minutes late to a workshop.
• Child Care Resources does not give partial credit for workshops.
• All participants wanting to receive STARS credit MUST sign-in on the roster provided at each workshop.
• Registrations that are not accompanied by payment and STARS ID# will be delayed and possibly returned.

Make-up sessions for Building Blocks classes - Opportunities to make-up missed Building Blocks classes are limited and require a fee of $35.00 per session. Certificates will not be issued until make-up fee is paid. We are unable to offer make-up sessions for Center 20 Hour STARS workshops. Students must make arrangements with the instructor to complete coursework.

Building Blocks 20-Hour STARS Training Schedule

These trainings are for Family Child Care Providers.

10-Hour STARS Continuing Education Workshops

These workshops count toward the annual 10-hour STARS requirement. Each class hour counts as one STARS hour. 

1st Aid/CPR and HIV/AIDS Awareness Training Schedule

These classes meet the licensing requirement for child care providers. We offer these classes through certified independent contractors at our Resource Centers.
