Child Care Resources' Play & Learn Network

The Play & Learn Network, coordinated by Child Care Resources, is a composed of organizations throughout King County offering Play & Learn groups and supporting Play & Learn efforts. The Network serves as a centralized source of support and information about Play & Learn.

Play & Learn Network members are interested in ensuring the quality and effectiveness of Play & Learn and in increasing the numbers of Play & Learn groups offered in King County. Our vision is that every child and their caregivers have access to a Play & Learn group in their neighborhood and in their language.

Who can join the Play & Learn Network? What does it cost?

There is no cost for organizations to join the Play & Learn Network.

The Network has two types of members – Sponsors and Partners.

Sponsors are community-based organizations which facilitate Play & Learn groups. Sponsors agree to comply with some minimum quality standards. Current sponsors include non-profit organizations, family support centers, community centers, and parent education programs.

Partner organizations commit to providing some sort of resource to Play & Learn. Resources can include providing space for Play & Learn groups to meet, sharing or purchasing materials, assistance with marketing and outreach, funding, and other support that help Play & Learn groups succeed. Current partners include parks and recreations and human services departments, library systems, and non-profit organizations.

If you’d like to become a member or want to learn more about membership, please contact Lisa Conley, Play & Learn Network Coordinator at (206) 329-1011, extension 202 or via email at conley@childcare.org.
