If you live in the state of Washington but do not live in King county, use the links at the bottom of this page to find a provider.

 

We offer three options for your child care search;

• Complete the intake form and mail to CCR (address below) or fax to (206) 461-3726 or
• access our online database of all licensed child care programs in King County http://www.childcare.org/families/new-subscribers.asp 
 

Questions About Licensed Child Care

  • There are two types of licensed child care, a child care center or family care. Read more..

  • What is accreditation? Unlike licensing, which is required by law for certain types of child care, accreditation is optional and shows that a provider has successfully met standards. Read more..

Other Types of Care

  • School-Age care programs provide children and youth with a place where they can "hang out" in a safe environment. Read more..
  • Nannies are child care providers who are paid for their expertise and experience and they are employees of the family for whom they work. Read more..
  • Au Pairs are participants in a USIA exchange program. Au pairs provide child care as part of their responsibility to their host family and are considered members of the family, NOT employees. Read more..
