More Kids, Less Money for Washington Early Learning Programs. Click here to read a radio interview with Family Services Director Marty Jacobs and the potential for serious budget cuts to ECEAP (preschool program for children with low income.)

Read the January edition of ParentMap - see the feature story (pg 47) entitled "Solving the Child Care Conundrum - coping with the costs and scarcity of quality care." CCR's director of family services, Marty Jacobs, was quoted. Additionally, there is an informational sidebar on the stats around FFN in Washington State.

Marty Jacobs, Director of Family Services, is quoted on page 54 in an article "The importance of Preschool" She says, "Quality early learning experiences come in many shapes and sizes. Parents must make sure their own values are consistent with the program they select." She goes on to say to look for a program that fits your child and jibes with your own cultural background - and your youngster's personality.
