that airs every Wednesday between 8:15 and 8:30 a.m. on KING 5 Morning
News on KONG 6/16 TV and tackles a variety of early learning topics that
will appeal to parents, grandparents and those who work with young
children as well as the general public. This series is funding by a
partnership between Thrive by Five Washington, with support from the
Ginger & Barry Ackerley Foundation, and BELO Seattle, which owns KONG
6/16, KING 5 TV and Northwest Cable News. Child Care Resources also
provides a portion of the funding. success. Seattle YMCA hosted Block Fest at their SeaTac location and
worked with other CCR’s Kaleidoscope Play & Learn partner organizations

CCR's director of family services, Marty Jacobs, was quoted. Additionally, there is an informational sidebar on the stats around FFN in Washington State.
