Lisa Bontje joined the CCR board to advance her belief that empowering women improves their lives, and the lives of their children. To this end, she has held several volunteer roles with Unitus, a microfinance accelerator organization, including serving as Co-Chair of the Empowerment Circle. A member of Social Venture Partners since 2001, Lisa has served on their Portfolio Grant Committee, a K-12 grant committee and currently serves as the Advocacy and Policy Committee grant review team Chair. Previously, Lisa was a Director of Investor Relations at Microsoft, as well as a CPA at Deloitte & Touche. Lisa graduated from Western Washington University with a BA in Accounting and Business. She and her husband have two children who attend The Valley School elementary in Seattle.
